The service

OAuth Hub is operated by [Operator name — to be confirmed]. It helps developers build authorization requests, exchange authorization codes, refresh tokens, and verify credentials with third-party providers. It performs only the requests you start. It does not connect to, monitor, or act on provider accounts in the background.

It is a preview. Features, supported providers, and limits may change or be withdrawn without notice.

Acceptable use

You must not:

  • use credentials, apps, or shops that you are not authorized to use;
  • use OAuth Hub to break a provider's terms, or to reach accounts or data without permission;
  • probe, overload, or disrupt the service. That includes getting around rate limits or sending automated high-volume traffic;
  • use the Shopify domain finder to scan websites in bulk, or to reach addresses that are not public;
  • use the service for anything unlawful.

To protect the service, requests are rate limited automatically. Excessive traffic receives a temporary "too many requests" response, and oversized requests are rejected. Access may also be limited or blocked for anyone who breaks these rules. No content you submit is moderated, because nothing is stored. Security research that follows the security policy is welcome.

Provider terms

Every provider has its own developer terms, API policies, and rate limits, and they apply to any credential you use through OAuth Hub. OAuth Hub is not affiliated with or endorsed by any provider it supports. Provider names and logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to identify their APIs.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the credentials you enter and the tokens you receive. Store them in a secure secret manager, rotate them if they may have been exposed, and revoke any you no longer need. OAuth Hub does not keep copies, so it cannot recover or revoke credentials for you.

No warranty

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. Provider behavior changes often. OAuth Hub's guidance and workflows may not always match a provider's current requirements, so check against the provider's official documentation.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, the operator is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nor is it liable for loss caused by a provider, by misuse of credentials, or by the service being unavailable.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot legally be excluded or limited. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Changes and law

These terms may be updated, and the date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. They are governed by the laws of [Governing jurisdiction — to be confirmed].

If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you can bring proceedings in the courts there. Questions go to hello@oauthhub.com, in English. That address is also the single point of contact for users and authorities.
